Our Charmed by the Holidays set includes:
Halloween: Features a copper bat braille embossed with “boo!” Since bats hang upside-down when they sleep, our creepy lurker is hanging upside-down on the cane charm, too! The braille is right side-up, though, so anyone can read it. The chain is embellished with black beads, and an orange jack-o-lantern charm for a truly spookalicious look. Charm, approx 4 inches long overall. Copper bat, about 1.5 by 1 inch wide.
Thanksgiving: We’ve captured the spirit of the season with this meaningful mobility cane charm design. Burnished brass and warm copper metals make up the pine cone and acorn embellishments, and at the bottom of the chain we’ve added a large copper maple leaf embossed with the word “thankful” in grade 2 braille. What a classic way to express the sentiment of the season. Maple leaf, about 1-1/8 inch wide. Overall length, approximately 4 and 1/2 inches.
Hanukkah: On a silvery Star of David charm, we’ve embossed “chs,” which in Hebrew is the acronym for “happy Hanukkah,” or more generically, “happy holidays” in grade 2 braille. We’ve also added blue and white beads, along with a tiny pewter menorah charm. Star of David, aluminum, about 1/2 inch wide, overall length, about 4 inches.
Christmas: Our aluminum Christmas tree is decorated with tiny jingle bell ornaments in bright colors, and topped with a shiny golden star. We’ve embossed “joy” at the bottom of this adorable holiday tree. Christmas tree, 1-1/2 inches long, overall length about 4 inches.
Valentine’s Day: A large red crystal is placed “in line” with the chain, along with pretty pink, white, and red dangles that enhance the silvery aluminum heart charm, which is braille embossed with “XOXO.” Perfect for mom, sis, or bestie. Heart, about 1 inch wide, overall length approx. 4 inches.
St. Patrick’s Day: Celebrate the wearing of the green with our lucky cane charm. This straight line design features shamrock green freshwater freeform pearl nuggets with a silvery steel bead at each end. At the bottom is a sweet four-leaf clover braille embossed with the characters “á d h,” which is the Irish word luck. For you braille sticklers, the letter “a,” with an accent mark in braille is written as the ampersand (&) sign. We wish you all the luck o’ the Irish with our St. Patrick’s Day cane charm! Overall length about 4 inches, four-leaf clover charm, about 3/4 inch wide.
Americana: Red, white, and blue enamel charms decorate this patriotic cane charm. An American flag, white top hat, and a charm with USA in alpha characters show your spirit. We’ve added sparkly stars, and a United States shaped brass charm braille embossed with “free.” Add this one to your white cane for all the patriotic holidays – Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot’s Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, or just because you love your country. Overall length, approx. 4 inches, US country charm, about 1 inch wide.
Easter: This pretty cane charm features fun holiday icons and genuine freshwater pearls. An enamel Easter bunny, her sparkly carrot, a tiny butterfly, crystals, and egg-shaped pearls in pink and green decorate the short length of chain. At the bottom hangs a colorful striped enamel Easter egg dotted with tactile designs that look like tiny pearls. No braille on this one, but the message is clear…Hoppy Easter! Overall length, approx. 4.5 inches. Easter egg charm, about 1 inch long.
All of our cane charms feature a steel clip at the top that snaps over the cord of your white cane, either on the loop end or the knot at the top of the handle grip. Attached is a short length of chain, which we’ve embellished with festive charms, beads, crystals, or pearls that fit the theme. At the bottom of each is a pendant charm featuring a message in braille. Celebrate the holidays with a different cane charm at each new time of year, or share with friends! Clip and chain, stainless steel. Pendant charms are either brass, copper, steel, or aluminum. Other beads and charms are about 1/4 inch to about 1 inch.
