This purse charm is not only beautiful, it’s layered with symbolism. At the top is our gold tone designer clasp that attaches to the hardware on your handbag. Like flowing desert sands, gemstone beads and metal accents ripple down the length of a cable chain in a sophisticated desertscape of amber, coral, sandstone, dusty rose, terra cotta, molten orange and glowing golden topaz. At the bottom is a large brass medallion braille embossed with “namaste.” Depending upon the language, namaste can be a salutation, a blessing, or a word of respect. Literally, it means, “I bow to the divinity in you.” Wow.
Hidden among the opaque round and nugget stones, you’ll find triangle shaped gems, a shape rich in meaning. Triangles connote harmony, creativity, ascension, and illumination. We’ve added the ankh, the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol that represents the word for life. We’ve also incorporated the infinity symbol throughout the piece, and as a final touch, we included a sun charm at it’s zenith, with the word “spirit,” embossed in grade 2 braille.
